I can still hear the echo of the school bell ring, the excitement in their voices and their laughter as the children came running and walking across the bridge from their school in the barrio to the house on Avenue Z. There were sixty-three children that first day. It was the beginning of a ministry inspired by God that would cross denominational lines, bring a community together and bridge the gap between the churched and unchurched by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in the purest and simplest form—through relationships.

This book tells the story of House of Faith through real life experiences. It tells of ordinary people, young and old, who found courage to step out of their comfort zone into the lives of people in neighborhoods in their town to take Jesus to them. It tells of transformed lives, struggles, victories and of hope. You will be inspired and encouraged as you read through the pages of life changing stories. You will catch a glimpse of children and young people who are “breaking the negative cycles” in their lives because someone said, “Here I am Lord; send me” to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their neighborhood. May God bless you and may His desires come alive in you as you read this book.
